What is the best core exercise equipment for home use?

My daughter has to wear something that is easy and convenient. We tried the videos without good results. My dog ate the balance ball. Everyone seems to be absent. My daughter has been told by his orthopedic surgeon who need to improve their core muscles and she is a great voice with back problems. My friend recommended the Power Plate, but is very expensive.
